Kenilworth Castle & Elizabethan Garden

Englands largest ruined castle built of warm red sand-stone. Edward II signed his abdication here and John of Gaunt created the banqueting hall. Elizabeth I spent a fortnight at Kenilworth in 1575, entertained by her favourite, Robert Dudley. Interesting exhibition of castle history in the barn, with interactive model of castle and mere.
